Session 1: Addressing K-5 Learning Loss in Mathematics through Differentiation

Audience: School Administrators and Teachers
Date: Monday, November 7, 3:15pm – 4:15pm
Presenter: Dr. Pam Warrick

In a post-pandemic environment, school communities are working to restructure math instruction to address learning loss by considering:

    • Are math lessons differentiated for all students?
    • Is instruction meeting the demands of NGLS?
    • Are students engaged and motivated in their math classrooms?

Targeting learning loss by reigniting student engagement and collaboration must be a priority in classrooms.  Workstations are building blocks to increase engagement, differentiation, and developing mathematical discourse through problem solving.  Generation Ready will be offering schools two complementary webinar sessions, separated by grade band to address the use of effective math workstations to combat learning loss.
